Summit Regional Water Storage Project

TRA financed, designed and constructed this eight million gallon ground storage tank to serve the needs of Duncanville and Cedar Hill. The 1986 contract between the Authority and the Cities was a creative milestone in regional water service supply. Water supplied under the cities' wholesale water contracts with Dallas is delivered into the tank. The project's high service pump stations for each city deliver each city's needs into their systems, and the supporting pipelines and appurtenances necessary to make the project operational for the benefit of both cities are a part of the project.
