Monitoring
The CRP creates and maintains a comprehensive statewide water quality monitoring program. Each CRP Planning Agency is responsible for implementing such a monitoring program within its respective basin, and in the Trinity River basin, many local entities have conducted fixed monitoring programs for years. These entities monitor water quality for water supply protection or municipal storm water monitoring. Partners for TRA's Clean Rivers Program include municipalities and regional water suppliers.
CRP staff works with these agencies to incorporate their programs into the program and to get the data they produce into a common database that can be shared statewide.
