Park Rules

For your safety and enjoyment of the park, please observe the following rules:

  1. Disorderly conduct will not be tolerated in the park.
  2. Camping is permitted only in the designated areas.
  3. No individual under the age of 18 may obtain a camping permit unless accompanied by an adult.
  4. No more than eight may share a campsite. Groups larger than eight people are required to reserve an additional campsite.
  5. Vehicle passes must be placed on the dashboard for proper identification and re-entrance into the park. Season pass stickers must be placed on the windshield.
  6. Burning trash, cans, paper, or plastic is prohibited. Please see trash collection times above.
  7. No display or public consumption of alcoholic beverages is allowed.
  8. Firearms and fireworks of any type are NOT permitted in the park.  This includes BB guns, air rifles, paintball guns, and bows.
  9. No littering or dumping of oil, gas, or batteries.
  10. All vehicles must obey posted speed limits on roadways and adhere to a 5 mph speed limit within camping areas.
  11. Golf carts, drones, ATVs, dirt bikes, electric bikes, hoverboards, skateboards, roller skates/blades, or the like, are prohibited in the park.
  12. Bicycles, pedal-assisted electric bicycles, and street-legal motorcycles are permitted. Prudent judgment, adult supervision, and proper safety equipment should be used when riding bicycles. Motorcycles can only be used on paved roads.
  13. Pets must be on a leash and under their owner's control at all times. Visitors with pets that present a threat, or disturb other visitors, will be asked to remove their pets from the park. Pets are not allowed in the swimming, picnic, playground, and restroom areas. Clean up after your pets and dispose of waste properly.
  14. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm - 8:00 am. This applies to radios, music, instruments, etc.
  15. All wastewater (gray or black) must be disposed of properly in a sewer connection or at the dump station.
  16. Swimming is permitted only in the designated swimming area at Wolf Creek Park. TRA's Ordinance No.0-76 prohibits persons and animals from swimming or wading within 100 feet of the boat launch area. Violations can be punished by fines up to $500.00. 
  17. No glass containers are allowed in the designated swimming or playground areas.
  18. Grills and stoves are prohibited by the designated swimming area.
  19. Unnecessary usage of water is not allowed. Washing campers, boats, or vehicles is prohibited.
  20. During a burn ban, no campfires or open flames will be permitted. Covered charcoal grills may still be utilized for cooking.
  21. Full Hookup RV campsites are to be reserved for RVs and accompanying tenting guests.
  22. Generators cannot be used in the park.
  23. Tents sites are limited to one portable A/C or electric heater per campsite.
  24. Damaging, defacing, or destroying TRA park facilities, buildings, or vegetation is strictly prohibited.


Anyone in violation of these rules will be required to leave the park without a refund and may be prosecuted. Report any issues or violations to the Park Office.
