Staff Groups

Northern Region – Responsible for the development of revenue-oriented projects in the northern portion of TRA’s service area, the operation and maintenance of existing facilities, the sale of water from Bardwell Lake, Joe Pool Lake and Navarro Mills Lake, and acting as liaison between TRA and its customers and/or the federal government.

Southern Region – Responsible for the development of revenue-oriented projects in the southern portion of TRA’s service area, the operation and maintenance of existing facilities, the sale of water from Lake Livingston, and acting as liaison between TRA and its customers and/or the federal government.

Financial Services – Responsible for the performance of financial services to all components of TRA's management organization.

Legal Services – Responsible for providing legal support to the Board of Directors and within the management organization, including land rights issues.

Administrative Services – Responsible for managing personnel, risk management, safety and office administration.

Technical Services and Basin Planning – TSBP provides technical assistance to the Authority through the implementation/management of geographic information systems (GIS), environmental service, and water resources planning. GIS provides enterprise-wide support for planning and operations through the geospatial integration of information. Environmental Services staff provide support and expertise for myriad issues that primarily occur within the basin but outside the typical confines of Authority projects. Water resources planning is responsible for water supply accounting, and for flood-risk reduction activities.

Planning, Design and Construction Administration – PDCA is responsible for managing the Authority’s capital program including developing and implementing long-range strategies for the construction and improvement and rehabilitation of all the Authority’s operating project facilities.

Information Technology Support Services – Responsible for the budgeting, procurement, maintenance, and security of all IT resources and data for both the business and industrial control networks. Integrates IT initiatives with business goals to increase productivity across the Authority and incorporates them into a long-term strategy.
